Alicante

Alicante is 24 kilometres from Dormio Resort Costa Blanca. It has excellent access from the resort, even by tram. It is the city for those who enjoy shopping, partying and sightseeing. One of the central points of interest in Alicante is the Explanada de España, a beautiful boulevard with lots of greenery where you can enjoy a stroll along the harbour. The pride of the city is the castle of Santa Bárbara, atop the Benacantil mountain.

If you plan to spend a day in Alicante, take a relaxing tram ride! The tram stop is just a short walk from the resort. From there you can easily take the tram to Alicante. After a fabulous route along the coast, through San Juan and Muchavista, you will arrive in 25 minutes at the pleasant Plaza de los Luceros in the centre of Alicante.
